Northgard - Lyngbakr, Clan of the Kraken

The Clan of the Kraken knows firsthand how dangerous the sea can be. They worship the gigantic creature, fearing its might, honoring its instinctual knowledge, and using its powers when it designs bestows them. Those fearful worshippers of the brutal sea thrive on its fish-filled coasts but know its danger too well to sail offshore.





Heir to the storm and carrying with her the wrath of the Ocean. She is the mistress of valkyrie training and she remains the best of them all.





This clan is imbued with a black magic called the Wyrd. If there is a good flux of Wyrd, the Kraken will offer new villagers. If there is not enough to contempt the creature, only the souls of the drowned will join the clan in the form of Spectral Warriors.

Wielders of fate, only the mighty seeresses of Lyngbakr master the occult forces of the Wyrd and can turn into fierce valkyries. Making them the beating heart of the clan and the keeper of their traditions.

• You can’t build Longship Docks and access the Trade Victory, but Fishing Cabins are more effective and can be used to fish both in lakes and the sea.
  
• On non-coastal zones, colonization and building costs are more expensive, and the unit's attack power is reduced. This can be changed with High Tides.
  
• The Horgr replaces the Brewery and produces Wyrd.
  
• You receive and control spectral warriors. You can have more by building Hörgar and having negative Wyrd.
  
• Seeresses can evolve into Valkyries.

Fame 200: Future Sight

• Spectral Warriors increase the production of the zone they’re in.
  
• Events are now revealed long sooner than other clans.
  
• Your clan feasts each time the Kraken approach the coasts.

Fame 500: Howl of the Sea Master

• Your maximum number of Spectral Warriors is increased.
  
• Military units killed have a chance to join your ranks as Spectral Warriors.

You can force the Kraken’s Event.

During Kraken’s event, if any boat is destroyed you will receive ressources.
