About This Game
Taking on enemy machines has reached a whole new level with the introduction of the Rival System and Experimental Weapons.
Detailed Description

Taking on enemy machines has reached a whole new level with the introduction of the Rival System and Experimental Weapons. While certain enemies will now be shaped and hardened through your interactions with the world, your new tier of weapons will provide you with enough firepower to hold your own against this new generation of machines.
Bitter Rivals
As you combat and take down large numbers of enemies within a certain region, the enemy will begin to regard you as a serious threat and rapidly adapt to aggressively fight back and crush your resistance once and for all. As a result, a machine will evolve, dealing a lot more damage and becoming more resistant to your attacks. These are referred to as Regional Rivals, and upon evolving into a Rival, they will gain a name and a unique title that hints at their past exploits in the war against humans.Sometimes engaging an enemy won’t go as planned and you or one of your friends will be defeated at the hands of a machine. The enemy that gained the upper hand will evolve into a stronger machine, emboldened by your failure to take it out, and keep on roaming the world - and in many ways it becomes your rival. These are known as Personal Rivals, and will be a harsh reminder of the outcome of your past encounters with them.
Experimental Weaponry:

The fight against the machines just got a lot more ruthless. Yet luck has been on your side, as a storage of experimental weapons developed by a secret division of the Swedish army has been discovered. They seem to be a mash-up of weapons we recognize and the technology used by the machines. Each has its own unique and satisfying approach to taking down the enemy. These weapons include:
- Experimental Klaucke 17 - Has a chance to trigger a small EMP explosion
- Experimental AG 4 - Can set machine components on fire due to heated bullets
- Experimental Pvg 90 - Adds a railgun upgrade that increases muzzle velocity and penetration, allowing you to hit multiple enemies with one shot
- Experimental 12G Pump-Action - Features flechette rounds that will explode when armed
- Experimental M/46 "Kpist" SMG - Includes an overdrive function that dramatically increases the fire rate
- Experimental Grg m/49 - Launches 2 grenades in the same burst
