Tao Qian has long been a steward of the Han and his own territory. He is renowned as a dependable and respectable governor, and one who focuses on building tall. He wants to make life better for the people he governs, and defends his lands against those would dare to encroach upon it.
Unique Faction Mechanic: Displaced Population
Tao Qian offers refuge to those fleeing from war. This is measured by a unique resource called Displaced population. Whenever a settlement on the campaign map is conquered by any faction, Displaced population is generated. Tao Qian offers them sanctuary, and they in turn contribute to his economy, helping to improve various activities such as mustering time and construction. Displaced population naturally decreases over time.
