No one is sure who originally built these subterranean rooms and passageways, but the builders left behind valuables from their civilization and that has attracted monsters of all sorts that have now made these underground castles their lairs. Fight ghastly creatures like gargoyles, the mindless gelatinous cube, angry gnolls, and the infamous lich, as well as a host of other monsters.
