About This Game
An open-world, roguelite, turn-based pirate strategy game with a focus on tactical combat, exploration, and fleet customization. Explore a new world each time you play and fight through an endlessly branching story. Face down a relentless king and restore the Pirate Code!
Detailed Description
The adventure continues with more strategy, more combat, and more peg legs in Pirate Code 2! Join forces with the newly minted Pirate King and help him seize the throne. Then maybe he will restore you to a place of honor. Or maybe he'll betray you. Perhaps you should turn on him first?
- Strategy-focused combat. Expanding on the base offered by Pirate Code, every battle is a challenge that can be overcome with a bit of quick thinking. Face downs foes with twice as many ships by engaging superior tactics. Set ships on fire, repair, submerge, and if necessary, place a curse on them. There's always a way to win!
- Procedurally-generated world. Generate a world for each play-through based on customizable settings and a seed. Discover new ships, new islands, new enemies, new allies and a diverging story with each play-through. There will always be a new challenge waiting for you!
- Design your ships. Dive into the details as you customize every ship with unique weapons, modifiers and upgrades. Expand a ship's hull to fit more cannons and discover new modifiers by exploring the ocean. Engineer the perfect fleet. You'll need it!
- A shifting story. The king has died and you find yourself caught up in the power struggle between his two sons. The elder has made you an outlaw and has rightfully claimed the throne. Your hope is the younger son, who has promised to restore you if you help him kill his brother. And so you serve the Pirate King, for now.
