About This Game
Forge is a deeply strategic map-based card game, fusing the real-time strategy, collectible card game, and deckbuilder genres. Coordinate your units and spells to take control of the map and outsmart your opponents. Discover the cards and find your strategy!
Detailed Description
Fused together by their unique energies, five dimensions now intersect sparking unprecedented possibilities. This is the world of Forge, revealed to you as a strategic map-based card game that invites players to share these endless possibilities.

Forge has over 200 foundational cards, 3 distinct card types, 5 characteristic card alignments, and 3 maps composed of 8 tiles types, that together ensure no two matches will be the same.

Instead of just having decks, loadouts in Forge allow players to designate commanders, workers, base cards, and forge cards. This not only promotes a more nuanced deck building experience, but also allows two players using the same cards to play with different strategies in mind.

Maps in Forge add a new dimension to the traditional card game formula, driving players to fight for resources, vision, and other positional advantages. Hide in the tall grass or boldly engage in open battle – maps are rich with such decisions

Card games can be infuriating when you don't draw the right card. Players can add cards – specified in their loadout – to their deck by building forges. This mechanic gives players more control over what they draw and allows for more consistent yet adaptable strategies.

Change up the rules while playing with your friends! Taking inspiration from the tabletop environment where homebrewed rules are king, Forge enables you to select custom rules to shake up your experience. These rules range from 1 health bases to making every unit lethal and can drastically alter the feel of the game.

Games are great, and they’re even better when you share them with others. At the same time, we recognize that not everyone likes to enjoy games in the same way. Forge supports both unranked friend challenges and a competitive ranked queue.
