Crystals Of Irm

Crystals Of Irm is the definition of an oldschool RPG. The approach combines elements of the Dungeon Crawler from a long forgotten time with a classic Overworld Map to explore you know from legends such as Ultima. That's rounded up with a combat system which is easy to learn yet hard to master. Explore with your three heroes the world of Irm and visit the many regions of the country, go deeper into the Dungeons than anyone ever before and face the grim monsters down below!

Today, only legends surround the crystals of Irm. The red crystal of the mountains - once the fire of the great forge. The blue crystal - once the symbol of the knowledge of the eternal academy. And the green crystal - once the patron saint of the endless forests. They have all disappeared from the world for too long. But there is a legend which tells that they shall be reunited. So maybe they aren't lost forever...

Every once in a while, self proclaimed heroes are trying to follow the legend to find the crystals to bring them back to where they belong. But they all failed. Most were never seen again. It is said that three Dungeons are waiting for adventurers. And each of these Dungeons shall be the home of a crystal. Will you succeed?

It's worth exploring the world of Irm. It is full of treasures and adventures for brave heroes. In the huge cities there are waiting tons of citizens with their tasks and while exploring thw world map you can always rest in your camp - but always watch your back! Grab your fishing rod or go deeper into the dungeons to loot some new spells or armor you might make use of. 

While doing so, you can explore an oldschool worldmap and travel through the multiple regions of Irm. When visitng important landmarks such as cities, the game switches into a first person 3D experience which awaits adventurers with its unique look. And trust us: These places are all filled with weird characters you'll fall in love with!

The heart of Crystals of Irm is the complex combat system. Once a battle starts a separated combat screen appears in which you must lead your heroes to success. The grid is waiting for you. And your mission is to keep moving. Not only to avoid the attacks of your enemies but every move also fills up your own energy to cast new spells.

That way the combat feels on the one side inspired by classic turn based battle systems but also offers the adrenalin rush modern bullet hell experiences offer. The addictive system seems to be rather easy in the beginning and can be learned pretty quickly. But the further you progress, the more chaotic (but always fair) the game fights become. That way each fight is a small challenge.

• A Unique Combat System: The movement based Grid Battles are fast and made for quick fights. Every movement counts and allows the player to charge spells and attacks of their heroes. At the same time you have to dodge enemy attacks like in a bullet hell experience.

• The huge world of Irm: Like in classic roleplaying games from the past there is a huge overworld which wants to be explored. From there you can enter impressive towns and grim dark dungeons!

• Grim colorful Dungeons: As it is expected from a typical RPG the number 3 plays an important role. Three crystals. Three heroes. And of course three dark (and yet colorful) dungeons are waiting for you!

• Character Progression as it should be: Your three heroes can be equiped with new spells and armor you can find hidden all over in Irm. Collect your equipment and become stronger to face even more dangerous challenges!

• A truly unique look: Crystals of Irm combines classic Overworld Maps with First Person Dungeon Crawling elements. And this world comes along very colorful - but it's just cute at first sight. Once you meet your first Lorg you'll understand that nothing is really cute here...
