About This Game

Appease God every 6 days or die! Find a way to break the cycle of ritual sacrifice.

Detailed Description

Generic RPG #777

(The game Redaxium 2.)

This is a sequel to Redaxium 1.

You only have 6 days to appease God through sacrifices at Divine Shrines or God kills you.

Find a way to break this cycle by earning enough points to win the game.

Hunger/Thirst/Fatigue/Anxiety/Adrenaline all matter!

Full day/night cycle inculded.

Combat is Turn-Based. Level up to unlock more powerful skills.

Customize your character to be effective at what you desire.

Full Features Breakdown:

Many large terrains to explore with unique abstract textures.

-Turn Based Combat. Multiple enemies can be fought at once.

-External Combat. Use special External Weapons that allow you to inflict damage or gain advantage

prior to Turn Based.

-Very detailed activity log.

It outputs as much information as possible about everything you do for your viewing.

-Night/Day system linked to survival stat effects.

-Ability to freely pass time into the future (provided you aren't under too many negative effects)

-Mining, digging, fishing, and farming!

All offer ways to get certain items more easily.

-Customize your name, picture, description, and age!

-Choose hardcore mode. (dying with this invalidates your save so you can't cheat!)

-Or choose resurrection mode so you respawn and don't need to reload a save due to death.

-Fight many handcrafted monsters

-Humanoid npcs for talking/chatting to.

-Many stats/attributes, including things like Sight & Stealth!

-Skills for both roleplaying and battle.

(Like Analyze, Gambling, Steal, Explosives etc.)

-Variety of build-types possible like Melee, Elemental, or just plain Weapon user.

-Recruitable and Customizable Companions

-Equip the weapon/armors you desire.

-Handy interaction menu allowing you to interact with most things how you want.

-80+ Random encounters

-A couple randomized mission providers

-Shopkeepers

-Innkeepers

-Bankers

-And more!

Redaxium 2 takes place in the same huge game world.

This therefore implies many areas will stay the same for consistency.

The plot is basically the same at the moment.

If that bothers you may want to wait if/when more quests/dialog get added.

Differences compared to first game:

-The Unity3D engine was upgraded to a modern variant.

This comes with some performance increases CPU-wise.

-Shadows and lighting look much better. (play the demo and you'll see)

-Shader enhancements. Some shaders are now used to make things look more realistic.

e.g. Character's bodies appear smoother.

-I've added Free Form Dialog. Which means your character will have things

to say about some of the locations you reach.

-I added Advanced Mining so you can get useful materials to sell.

These mines will look like shiny rock-piles when you come across them.

-I added sound fx to the Kamikaze units that chase you.

-I fixed the wrapping on the activity log text. This means far less broken sentences.

-I added a wipe button to the options menu so you can overwrite log.txt.

-I also added some background images for some of the UI menus,

that lacked them.

-I've added a special junk-selling npc outside the bank in Lagorigana.

-The bank doors close at night. (atleast in Lagorigana)

-There's also a bank vault you can buy atleast in the first town.

-I've added a recycle button to chests so you can destroy items.

-Game Currency has changed to the Gold/Silver/Copper standard.

This gives you more sensible ways to store money as items,

and understand the value of items.

-Journal now has options to show finished versus not finished quests.

-Home/Guild Lots now exist to be purchased.

They offer benefits such as MP regen. With Guild Lots offering hirable companions.

You must find a specific npc to get a specific home/guild. This means it helps

to explore the world if you want different lot options.

Guilds are more costly!

Lots also come equipped with They/Them stations that you can activate daily,

until you get a Blood vial you can sell.

-There are now perishables that heal MP.

-Combat now has Metas. These allow you to do critical strikes.

Metas fluxuate over time but also build from the skills you use in combat.

-Added a Randomize button so you can randomize your character name when you start

a new game.

-There are also items in game you can use to boost Metas.

-More plants have been added to make world feel more alive and

decorated.

-New creatures: Mutant Abominations that soar across the lands.

They are called the Glitched and are invulerable and pass through things like ghosts.

-I've reskinned many menus to look different than original game. Stat Menu, Journal Menu, etc.

-The terrains now use a bump texture to give them a more realistic look.

-I've made a fair amount of UI-re-alignment efforts so hopefully things

are more likely to look right than in the first game.

-I've added Clouds. They drift in real time and will change position on the hour.
