Congratulations and Good Tidings! You have been selected by the Eternal Emperor to lead an colonial expedition into the dark continent of Arkana. Rich new deposits of the most sacred Arkanite has been discovered, and it is up to you to claim it for the Holy Human Empire.

BUILD

Expect challenges the moment you set foot on your new settlement. Design and build shelters for your people, grow crops, tame and raise animals, produce goods for trading, craft weapons, armor and items. Prepare for changing seasons and varying weather. Start from a humble hut to a sprawling trading town. Build mansions and castles protected by our most advanced towers, powered by Arkanite mana. Just make sure to pay the Emperor's taxes, or else. Rebellion will not be tolerated.

FIGHT

Peace through Power! Nowhere is that more true than Arkana. Our rivals and enemies are abound; the mercenary armies of the Serene League are on the prowl for slaves and plunder. Bloodthirsty Orc warlords are always looking to turn us into meat. The ever-hidden elves scheme in their nests, sharpening their arrows to hunt our people. And above all, pay no attention to the rumors of the Necromancer Kings returning. The undead were all exterminated in the Great Crusade, taking their dark arts with them. The howls and screams you hear at night are just were-beasts, nothing more.

EXPAND

In His Divine Grace and Wisdom, the Eternal Emperor has decreed that non-humans are now welcome amongst us. Balance the needs of a growing population. Every single one of our subjects have their own wants, needs, and favorites. These outlanders are notoriously prone to bouts of emotion, and gain friends, enemies, and lovers. Make sure everyone is eating healthy food and entertained with drinks and fun activities.

DEVELOP

The ship-borne journey from the Imperial Capital to Arkana is long and dangerous. You will have to make do with what you have and rediscover our old technology. Craft Legendary items for your people. Devise ingenious new ways of using Arkanite mana. Read ancient books to learn new skills and abilities. But remember: stay away from the forbidden magica you might find in the dark continent. The punishment for treason is swift and severe!

CONQUER

Once your settlement is fully developed, you will be able to send out your own expeditions into the dark unknown. Explore ruins. Go on scouting missions. Tame dragons and other creatures. Accomplish quests for our Holy Empire and whatever 'allies' you might meet.

This is a brave, dangerous new world out here. It is up to you to raise our banners from here to the ends of this land. Glory to the Holy Human Empire and Praise the Eternal Emperor!

MAIN FEATURES

- Detailed building system. Build houses, courtyards, towns and castles. Be careful about fire or the defensive layout of your settlement. Power your settlement with mana.

- Day and night system. Weather and seasons affects gameplay in a major way

- Play how you want. Choose to have a peaceful trading settlement, settling conflicts through bribes. Or maybe have a slaver camp? Or what about a necromancer's enclave?

- Necromancy / Undead simulator. Learn the forbidden arts and turn your enemies into zombies. Vampires are fast and strong but are vulnerable during the day. Liches are powerful mages but cannot do basic tasks.

- Realistic, tactical combat. Heavy armor may protect against arrows but fire can cook its wearers alive

- Complex RPG system. Your characters level up the more they use a skill, but everyone has different natural talents

- Farming and creature raising. Farm different crops. Better crops mean better food as long as your people know how to cook. Tame and raise creatures, for food and protection.

- Dynamic relationships: your characters form bonds and relationships. They have their own wants and personalities. They may become lovers or enemies.

- Prestige system. The better you run your settlement, the more visitors arrive, bringing gold, treasure and other benefits
