About This Game
In Berlin Maniacs you take on the role of the young and impressionable Tina in a fictionalized snapshot of West Berlin in the year of 1968, a time when state violence led to radicalization within the student protest movement.
Detailed Description
Berlin Maniacs is a top-down 3D story-driven action-adventure.
Players take on the role of the young and impressionable Tina in a fictionalized snapshot of West Berlin in 1968, a time when state violence led to radicalization within the student protest movement.
You decide how to navigate the streets of Berlin - with either discretion or force - and ultimately affect her involvement with a group of protesters that is growing more violent by the day.
Gameplay Features
Exploration: Freely navigate a tiny open world, a city district in the grasp of the political tension between the progressive youth and the police.
Dialogue: Talk to the inhabitants of the city to understand what drives them. Solve quests and discover the political forces of the young West German republic.
Equipment: Fight back with what you can find on the street. Use bottles to distract or attack your enemies, wave a sign during a political protest, and smuggle contraband between factions.

Photography: Utilize Tina's instant film camera to document your journey. Pictures expose police brutality and help you to understand your surroundings.
Dynamic NPC Behavior: Utilize and experiment with the NPC's dynamic behavior to hide in crowds, lure the police away or escalate protests into an all-out riot.
