About the Game

Slaughter Cats is a bloody side scrolling beat'em up platformer fusing intense combat and fun platforming in a vivid and varied world. Players can play by themselves or play locally or online with up to four people in 3 different modes: Arcade, Horde and Deathmatch. Battle across stunning landscapes utilizing a complex combat system and magical abilities to help you shower in the blood of diverse challenging enemies from angry viking and orc raiders to slippery ninjas and nefarious necromancers. Slaughter Cats takes inspiration from classic beat'em ups such as Golden Axe and Castle Crashers and combines that with influences from platforming greats such as Crash Bandicoot and Mario to come up with a unique fusion of the genres with a little extra splash of blood.

Avenge the death of your grandpa and take back what was stolen from you by the evil Jelly Dog. Fight your way through over 20 levels of diverse detailed landscapes and level up your chosen cat as you progress through the game by adjusting their skill points. Unlock devastating new moves, combos, magical abilities and over 40 lethal weapons to become even more deadly and slaughter your enemies mercilessly.

Try your best to butcher the endless waves of enemies who are out to make you bleed, in your quest to be top of the leader boards and become the Slaughter King. Play on your own or co-op locally or online and devastate your adversaries.

Compete in a bloody free for all against your friends locally or online or fight against random players in the ether, play in a wide variety of areas and customize the extensive game mode settings to your liking and try to slaughter the competition.
