“Mauler” is perhaps the most unconventional of Jericho’s projects. Its energy core is so massive that connections and heat sinks run through the entire ship, making it glow with an inner light. This put limitations on the ship’s armour, but scientists were able to install composite materials on “Mauler”, thus reinforcing its hull. It was designed as a flagship for an experienced Jericho officer, but as a result of a skirmish with the Cybers, the officer was killed. The original construction plans were changed, the design and internal structure were completely reworked. “Mauler” simply turned the battleship market upside down, forcing mercenaries and pilots from different sides to buy this ship. It is said that the man responsible for building this ship suffered from a personality disorder and committed suicide after a record sales spike.
