Speaking of eating ants, anteaters cometh! Although, despite the name, they do eat more than ants. They love termites, and have been known to eat fruit, bird eggs, worms, bees… the list goes on. When put into perspective, it seems like a reductive name. Imagine, if you will, that a zoologist alien comes to visit and names the human race something like “potato eaters”. Excuse me, alien overlords, I’ll have you know a lot of us eat cereal too. I quite fancy some sushi occasionally. Who are you to put us in a rudimentary box like that? Rude.
