About This Game

Space Freighter it is a space cooperative game where you and your friends have to fulfill orders for cargo transportation in a distant galaxy. Cope with unforeseen events and survive! Dynamic gameplay and exciting missions await you!

Detailed Description

Imagine a universe where the most unfortunate, yet enterprising, workers of the cosmos decided that enough is enough! Pooling together all their meager savings, they bought an old, creaky, rusty but still flying space cargo freighter—one that was probably already on the scrapping list, but miraculously saved from the junkyard by your insane adventure. Now, the ship’s glory days depend solely on you... and, of course, a couple of rolls of duct tape that should always be at hand.

You face a choice: who now gets your hard-earned credits? Serve the galactic mega-corporation of bureaucrats buttoned up tight — Or work with the newborn Trade Federation, trying to stand up against the corporate muscle of Or maybe you want to do things your own way and join the ranks of the cosmic pirates, whose laws are mere suggestions and whose most profitable contracts are a bit... outside the law.

Your cargo ship isn’t just a bucket of bolts! There are three different freighters available, each upgradeable to your liking. At upgrade stations, you can spend your last credits on new modules: from extra cargo holds to suspicious-looking devices of unknown purpose. The more you upgrade your ship and complete orders, the deeper you dive into the saga of low-wage heroes who just wanted to make some money, but, as usual, the stars always interfere.

The game design of life means searching for fuel all across the sector, then spending your last credits on disinfecting the hold (mold spores aren’t a joke!), and sometimes exploring abandoned stations or hurtling through ruins, squinting hard, hoping not to punch a hole in your hull on some ancient alien scrap.

Thought it would just be about delivering potatoes? Ha! Almost every turn in this game is a puzzle: you might get caught in a zone of cosmic turbulence where your rickety carrier starts to take itself apart “live on camera”; drift into a magical nebula with a hallucinogenic atmosphere; suddenly see aliens waving behind your ship’s portholes (or maybe it’s just fatigue); and if you’re brave enough, fly through a black hole and find out what happens next (we don’t guarantee anything!). Plus, an encounter with 15-centimeter-tall dwarves who drilled their way out of your ship’s bathroom and are seriously set on taking over your vessel — that’s not a bug, it’s a feature!

You’ll find tons of cosmetic options, free astronaut skins (yes, absolutely free — no microtransactions here!), disguises, and a treasure trove of Easter eggs — don’t forget to hunt for them between missions! Missions vary in length, from 10-minute urgent deliveries to epic 45-minute story-driven runs. And of course, original mechanics: clone rebirth system, loans with high interest (we recommend paying on time — or else you’ll discover new “painful” recovery methods), and the ability to transport not only cargo but animals, plants, people, even microbiological cultures! Each type of cargo needs special care and conditions to arrive intact and safe, or you’ll have a galaxy-sized scandal on your hands instead of applause.

We remind you: this project was made by a small team of young students who worked day and night with the help of AI and sometimes free assets/sounds/music. Please be understanding, let go of your everyday worries, and dive into the funny, hardworking life of a space freight worker. Welcome to the life of an ordinary interstellar trucker!

Inspired by projects like: Lethal Company, R.E.P.O., Void Crew — but we honestly have more duct tape and self-irony!
