Ling Hun - ArtBook

This free DLC offers a Ling Hun Artbook.

In which we can find examples of the digital art used to create the game's backgrounds thanks to our Artist Ivan Gonzalez "CabezaRojo".
All illustrations have been created with love and passion in order to enrich the game experience.

The artist has named his work for Ling hun, "The Sea of Clouds."

With this concept, the artist created a series of backgrounds in soft tones to obtain, thanks to this, a better reading of the levels through which Yun goes in search of Zorro, of whom Ivan is the architect of his creation. With all this, the primary intention was to make an art that would capture the player's attention, transport him to the East but also trying not to divert too much of the main attention to the levels and thus obtain an almost perfect homogeneity that is reflected in each brushstroke of Ling Hun levels.

Drawing from traditional Chinese watercolor and the concept of floating islands, "The Sea of Clouds" features art of mountainous environments, combined with touches very reminiscent of Asian culture to remind the player where they are at all times. All the backgrounds have been made on a traditional writing paper texture, to reinforce the entire Asian concept and accentuate it at all times.
From the beginning, the artistic direction was a very clear and concise idea; Transmit a feeling of visual calm, homogeneity, serenity and Asian culture during a long trip between the mountains with a serene as well as mystical tone.
