Carnival Heroes - Super party minigames

Carnival Heroes is cross-platform online multiplayer board game for 2 to 4 players similar to super mario party.

Inside the game you will enjoy 24 minigames which you play along the main game.

The game can be played in 2 game modes: online (vs real human players or solo (vs AI).

GAMEPLAY

You take turns in an order determined by the biggest dice roll.

On your turn you roll a dice and you use (or not) an item you previously collected.

The goal in the game is to collect as many crowns as possible.

Crowns are bought with gems.  Gems you collect by walking onto the game board, by landing on chests or by winning in minigames.

At the start of the game you choose animal avatar which you will play as.

Each of the 8 avatars comes with a special dice which you can play if you want (you either play the regular 1 to 6 dice or the character special dice).

The game has two main gameplay modes: FREE and FIXED.

In FIXED mode you walk along a fixed routers. But you still choose which direction to go on the intersections.

In FREE mode you draw your exact path on which you player will go. You have to make sure you make most of your path (i.e. it goes through many gems, mates and it lands on a board item.

BOARD ITEMS

• Gems. These are diamonds in 3 colors: red = 1 gem, green = 2 gems and blue = 3 gems.

  Gems are used to purchase crows or items from the store.

• Crowns. This is what you must be aiming to get. Crowns are bought with gems. In the beginning of the game 1 crown costs 10 gems..but as the game progresses they will become more and more expensive (15 or 20 gems).

• Mates. Mates are special animal friends which will follow you onto the game board and will give you gems for each player you jump over (i.e. pass through its place). 

  Each mate you have, will give you additional big dice that you can roll instead of the regular 1 to 6 dice. Moreover, mates have their own small dice that they will roll with you and it will be added to your dice value.

• Chests. These will give you random prize in form of items or gems.

  Items are inventory stuff which you can use throughout the game (dice addons, portals or many other special items).

• Events. Shown as questionmarks on the board, events are immediate actions like teleportations, crown movement traffic light switchings and others.

• Battle. Landing on battle will force all players to bet a random amount of gems and play in a randomly chosen minigame. The winner takes it all

• Hidden gifts. These are hidden fields (empty cells) which you don't see. If you land on a hidden gift, you will get a random prize or a bomb.

  Positive gifts are gems, mates or items.

  Negative gifts are gems taken from you or losing a mate.

• Traffic Lights, These switches are giving you 2 routes to pass: free one and a paid one. 

  Paid route costs X gems to pass. On each pass it increases its price with 1.

• Cracked tiles. Some tiles get cracks once a player lands on them.

  When the crack gets big enough, the last player passing through it will pay small gems tax to repair the crack.

• Stores. If you land on a store, you have the option to buy an item. Items usually cost 2-3-4-5 gems. Once all items are bought from the store, new ones will be automatically added.

MINIGAMES

• Aether Drift: You fly in a 3D space station and have to survive against the flying aliens (and be the fastest to reach the final line)

• aMaze Memory: Escape the maze before the timer runs out. But be careful - there are many traps.

• Bombastic: The bomb fuse is lit up. Kick it away before it explodes in your feet. Timing is a key!

• BoomBox: You are armored boat in a constantly changing arena. Use your mines and firepower to outgun your opponents.

• BullsOut: The bull is out and one player will ride it, trying to hit other players in a closed round arena. Be quick to escape the bull horns.

• Cannon Island: Escape the cannonballs from the patrolling pirate ships. It will be a mess! 

• Crane Picker: One player is controlling claw crane machine, while others run in a closed box.

• Firm Factory: Here you destroy your opponents by throwing boxes onto them. But be careful - the floor can be busted and you can be trapped.

• Fruit Rain: Collect as many fruits as possible. The more you get, the more gems you will win..but be careful: there are falling grenades.

• Hard Kicker: Listen the sound volume and based on it - you will have to kick your ball. But be careful, if you kick it too hard - it will fall off and you will not get any gems. If you kick it too soft, then you will get only a little gems. So be precise!

• Jumping Jungle: Jump in the hexagon arena and mark your land. The more you mark - the more points you will get, but only when you claim them with the [!] box. There are other boxes which give you speed and other surprises.

• Jungle Jammers: Don't let the balls hit your gate. Fast reactions are a key. You think you can handle one ball? Wait until they become 3.

• Making Cupcakes: So you like sweets? Lets see how great your cupcake will become. Precisely aim the oven chimney to lay the cake layers one by one.

• Obstacle Runner: Be the fastest to finish the track without falling. Watch out for the obstacles.

• Pull-Vider: You plan on a teams of 1vs1 or 2vs2 and will be pulling an internet cable. The team who pulls it faster, gets to connect its internet and wins the gems!

• Robot Assembly Line: One or two players are controlling a big alien robot, while the other(s) are running on the assembly line. They must escape robot big hands.

• Sequence Salad: Test your memory by guessing the veggies sequence. But be fast, as the fastest players only get the points.

• Sonar Runner: The sonar is spinning. But you must escape its light. Once it stops and you are there - you are gone! Be agile and you will survive!

• Speed Runner: You are being chased by a cockroaches. You must escape them at all cost. But there are obstacles too. You have no time to waste. Hurry up and finish 1st.

• The Ski Slope: You are on a ski. And you must climb the slope to reach the finish line. You do it by rapidly pressing one button. Lets see how fast you are.

• Timing Expert: Escape the cannonballs. They are coming from left or right and you must be jumping in the perfect moment, or you'll get smashed.

• Tire Battle: You are in the circus...riding a single wheel. Throw your opponents off the stage by using your boost and accelerate your wheel from far.

• Tower Builder: In this physics game, you have to build the tallest tower - but fast! The one who reaches the finish line wins.

• Vacuum Cleaner: Clean up the mess left by the naughty baby. You must vacuum the trash and bring it to your corner bin.

GAME OVER

Once the turns finish, a prize crowns will be announced. There will be 3 crown prizes given for a different randomly chosen condition. 

Crown can be given for the best player in minigames, or for the most traveled spaces player - or other bonuses. 

The final winner is the one who has the most crowns. 

If two players have same number of crowns - then their gems will play a role in deciding the final winner.
