Detailed Description

The fight for the future starts now. Fight with or against your friends with crazy sci-fi tech, innovative mechanics, and a classic yet colorful retro feel!

MULTIPLE GAMEMODES

  • 1V1 Fight, the classic way to fight!

  • Multi-Fight, a free-for-all or team battle with up to 4 players!

  • Training, to learn each fighter or try out those crazy combos!

VARIOUS FIGHTER COMPLEXITIES

All fighters can be played at different complexities to either simplify or expand upon the fighter's mechanics. MODERATE is the intended way to play, but SIMPLE offers a easier experience for new players and ADVANCED offers more depth to look into. Whether you are a casual or competitive player, everyone can enjoy the same fighters!

DEPTH WHERE IT MAKES SENSE

Accessibility should be about reducing the floor for new players to enjoy a game, not simplifying the game entirely! There have been efforts to simplify some usual fighting game difficulties, such as:

- No motion inputs (double-tap, quarter-circle, DP, etc.)

- Buttons can be held down to ease up timings

- Most moves are juggle-okay, removing usual combo restrictions

There are also efforts to bring that difficulty in other areas, such as:

- Extensive meter management mechanics

- Character-specific mechanics that are critical to their win conditions

- Unique canceling mechanics

The purpose of this project is to foster an environment for strong competitive and casual audiences for all types of players to enjoy the game!

STORY CONCEPT

After a major international war, the world is decimated and nations have fallen. To have one last shot at revitalizing humanity, the remaining world leaders come to together to form Potentia, a utopia serving as a polestar for technological and cultural development. However, they no longer trust humans with their full psyche, so they embed neurological implants into all inhabitants to limit their ability to feel anger or intense trauma. It does not react well to people with intense emotional trauma, but it seemed to be fine for a bit.

Although the utopia looks prosperous at a glance, there is much more behind the looking glass. One mysterious night, an electromagnetic surge sweeps the nation that affects all of the implants. Some are unaffected, some go braindead, and those with intense trauma begin to gain immense supernatural abilities. What caused this surge? What traumas have the citizens been hidden from? What is really going on in this utopia? Is Potentia really the utopia that it was sought out to be? All of this and more is unveiled as the main narrative follows this glorious utopia falls to rubble.

Try out this crazy new fighter today!
