About This Game
Discover and automate unique materials. Engineer the machines and tools for your factory. Handle hazardous materials to make explosives and near-limitless energy. Use your own tools to navigate a labyrinth of alien passages and uncover untouched tunnels in this innovative Automation-Metroidvania.
Detailed Description
Irradiate 235 is an Automation-Metroidvania where the player not only builds the factories but designs the very machines themselves. The machines have simulated pressure, temperature, electricity, and more; this allows the player to design almost any type of machine to help mass produce items, blow up enemies, or make massive amounts of electricity.
The player must navigate and survive through the tough conditions of their environment. By using one's intelligence, the player will be able to engineer weapons to fight enemies better and salvage for protective suits to bear the tough conditions. The main goal of the player is to engineer the parts of any device that can help them breach the escape velocity of their planet.
INDUSTRIALIZE THE NEW WORLD-
Being in a fresh and new environment means that tons of resources are ripe for the taking. After all, jet fuel and enriched uranium don't pop into the player's inventory for free. Factories must rise with well-calibrated inputs and outputs to mass produce these high demand items. Exploring new areas also isn't cheap. Huge mechanical doors block the player's path; to open the door, large amounts of complex materials must be obtained. Unfortunately, massive factories need massive power to operate effectively. This means that the player must design efficient ways to turn materials with potential energy into electricity to flow across wires.
