Kangaroo Court is a 4-40 player chaotic, satirical, and humorous court room simulator with trials that range from parking in a handicap zone, to murder trials. In "Kangaroo Court", play as a Judge, Defendant, Prosecutor, or Defense Lawyer! The defendant is GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT! Other roles include: Jury Member, Public Gallery Member, News Crew, Victim Impact, Police and Security. You will defend, incriminate, vote, and decide the fate of the defendant for the heinous crimes they have committed. The Judge can exert control and prevent anarchy with their personal Police Officers leading the course of the Trial!

The Judge

The Judge is the court rooms ultimate authority figure, tasked with ensuring smooth operation of the court trial, jailing, or eliminating the culprits sabotaging the courtroom.

The Defendant

As the Defendant, you’re on trial for a crime you may or may not have committed. Outwit the prosecution, sway the jury, and navigate the chaos to fight for your freedom!

The Defense

You are a Defense Lawyer, tasked with proving your client’s innocence—guilty or not! Use witnesses, documents, and real or fake evidence to build your case. Outsmart the prosecution, and sway the jury in this chaotic courtroom battle.

The Prosecution

You are a Prosecution Lawyer, tasked with ensuring the defendant is found guilty, who cares if they aren't, they shouldn't have committed the crime! Use witnesses, documents, and real or fake evidence to build your case. Outsmart the defense, and sway the jury in this chaotic courtroom battle.

The News Crew

You are a member of the News Crew. Your job is to spread as much propaganda about the case to every player in the court room as possible. News cameras, boom mics, flash photography, new paper presses, typewriters, and more propaganda methods to sway the case and disseminate the latest court room drama and out of context information!

The Jury

You are a Jury member, tasked with the most control in determining the outcome of the court trial. As a Jury member you are allowed to vote on a mid trial recess to discuss with the rest of the jury members on what the outcome of the trial should be. This role spawns when there are more than 18 players.

The Public Gallery

You are a Public Gallery member, tasked with contributing to the chaos of the court trial. This role spawns when there are more than 19 players.

The Victim Impact

You are a Victim Impact member. Share your story with tears to sway the court! You’ll spawn with the defense or prosecution, but siding against your team means betrayal. Choose wisely!

The Police and Security

As a Security Officer, your job is to protect the judge at all costs and follow their every command—failure to do so could mean sudden death! As the arresting Police Officer, you're tasked with explaining the events leading to the arrest, whether you're corrupt or not. Your testimony can make or break the case, so choose your words carefully!
