About This Game
Flower For A Farewell is a visual novel, Scroller-Adventure, that takes you on a journey with a turtle named Toby, who is going through grief. Meet characters who are dealing with a similar painful experience.
Detailed Description
Our game is a visual novel/scroller adventure telling the story of Toby.
Toby is a turtle who is well on in his years and has seen much.
He ventures out into the woods behind his home, where he and his wife always used to go on walks.
Our story focuses on a complex topic: loss and grief.
It reminds us that not all journeys are the same; in some, you may only be able to lend an ear, and in some, you can help calm their worries.
But, regardless, you have to keep moving forward.
As Toby continues, he will encounter multiple woodland creatures in the forest. Each character, along the way, represents a different stage of grief.
As you talk with them, you collect a flower from each one. You will learn more about their dilemmas while also learning about Toby's mental journey.
