The protagonist Junichi's stepsister who shares the same birthday with him.

She wears a small bell around her neck that Junichi gave her.

A serious honor student who serves on the Public Morals Committee with Miharu, popular at school but shows a "scary side" when angry at Junichi.

Though she appears capable at housework, she actually possesses a special talent for creating food so terrible that hitmen might place mail orders for it.

Yoshino Sakura: Chiharu

The protagonist Junichi and Nemu's childhood friend, and Junichi's cousin.

She moved overseas in spring six years ago.

Born with a spoiled and carefree personality, she's loved like a mascot or rare animal.

She has a huge crush on Junichi and competes with Nemu, his stepsister, by calling him "Oniichan" and has a habit of clinging to his legs and waist.

Shirakawa Kotori: Kana Ichinose

A school idol with high charisma, kind to everyone and beautiful in appearance.

Popular among students at both Kazami Gakuen Affiliated and main school, rumor has it there's even an unofficial fan club...

Despite seeming like an unattainable flower, when you talk to her, she surprisingly flashes a playful smile.

She's a refreshing girl, as pure as mineral water.

Mizukoshi Moe: Sayumi Suzushiro

A student at Kazami Academy Main School. Miss Mizukoshi Hospital and Mako's older sister.

Often seen smiling gently beside her competitive sister Mako, but apparently has a mischievous side too.

A member of the music club with impressive piano skills. An honor student who also loves fortune-telling.

During lunch breaks, she enjoys hot pot on the rooftop with her sister Mako, and seems to have strong opinions about hot pot cooking.

Mizukoshi Mako: Yurie Igoma

The protagonist Junichi's classmate.

Competitive and energetic, she's a leader among the girls in class.

She's exceptionally skilled with the violin, and her dignified performance stance has earned her fans of both genders.

Every Valentine's Day, she receives tons of chocolate from other girls.

She's quick to scold Junichi and Suginami for being noisy and foolish.

She and Mizukoshi Moe are sisters born a year apart, both belonging to the music club.

Amakase Miharu: Miku Ito

Protagonist Junichi and Nemu's childhood friend.

Particularly close with Nemu, she's "taken care of" in the same committee. Nicknamed "Doggy".

Has innocent remarks and a forgetful personality, but might actually have the most responsible character... maybe.

Unaware that Junichi and Nemu are step-siblings, she seems to dream about their relationship, but cheerfully watches over them from afar.

Surprisingly tough. Loves bananas.

Sagisawa Yoriko: Kaori Ishihara

A Cat-Eared Maid who was being bullied by children in the park before being rescued by Junichi, and subsequently moved into the Asakura residence.

She's timid and afraid of going outside.

Despite her insistence on being a maid, she initially couldn't cook or do housework, but she's a quick learner and soon became competent.

She refuses to explain why she has cat ears or why she's a maid. According to Suginami, she's one of Hatsunejima's mysteries.

Fuuki: Hikaru Tono

A mysterious girl encountered in a cave in the forest.

Her silver hair and the Oni mask she carries around are striking, as is her antiquated and distinctive way of speaking. She might be a foreign exchange student who loves Japanese culture.

She appears all over the island, helping people by doing what she believes is right.

■The Story

Hatsunejima, an island where the "undying cherry blossoms" bloom year-round, regardless of the season.

At Kazami Gakuen located on this Hatsunejima,

there's a boy who can magically create Japanese Sweets out of thin air,

and has the somewhat whimsical ability to show others their dreams.

His catchphrase is "what a drag" - this boy, Asakura Junichi, is a student there.

His nagging yet clingy step-sister, Asakura Nemu.
