About This Game
This is the narrative of the Apocalypse of John, the last book of the Bible, told with the use of images pre-generated by artificial intelligence and accompanied by a short caption.
Detailed Description
This game is a book to browse and read.
It consists of a collection of images, pre-generated by artificial intelligence,
that tell the story of the Apocalypse of John, the last book of the Bible.
The book follows the sacred text exactly, starting with the letters
sent to the seven Churches of Asia Minor, then following the opening
of the seven seals of the scroll-shaped book that the Father holds in his hands,
the seven trumpets of the Apocalypse, the seven warning signs and the
seven cups of God's wrath poured out on the earth.
Finally the Last Judgement and the new Jerusalem that descends from Heaven.
Each individual image automatically scrolls across the screen for a
general overview, then a caption appears to be read.
The aim of the game is to stimulate the reader's imagination for a spiritual
reflection on the fundamental themes of human life, the origin and purpose
of all things and the encounter of man with God.
Finally, this is also a way to arouse interest in reading the Bible and the desire
to delve deeper in the sacred text on the topic of the Apocalypse and the
Judgment of God on the history of humanity.
The vision of imaginary images inspired by the biblical text,
images that apparently seem to come from cinematographic fiction
or from the world of fairy tales, can lead the spectator to not believe in
the truthfulness of the topics discussed.
Instead, these spiritual topics are to be considered "true" and "authentic",
as truthful is the Word of God and precisely because it comes from God, the Word
cannot lie in teaching the Church of Jesus Christ, nor can it lie to all men and women
called to have faith in God.
