Detailed Description
Reclaim Land From The Sea
In POLDERS, you don’t just place buildings, you create the very land they stand on! Inspired by centuries of Dutch ingenuity, you build a system of dykes and pump out the water using windmills.
Build Organic Towns Block By Block
Build historic Dutch towns in a Townscaper-like flow. The streets in POLDERS are crooked and imperfect, creating interesting spatial puzzles and picturesque villages full of personality.
Produce, Trade, Expand
In POLDERS, all buildings have a purpose! Farm hay and pulverize it with your windmill to turn it into flower. Transport the flour to your bakery so it can make it into bread and sell it. Use your income to grow your production chain with new and different products!
Water As Your Friend Or Foe
You might have won back some land from the water, but always be on the look-out! The water is waiting to strike back. Strengthen your dykes, or risk losing everything. The good news: water can also be your greatest strength. Create intricate canal systems to automate your production process and free up resources for further expansion and securing of your own little piece of Holland.
