• Story

"Inner Truth" is set in the modern era and tells a story centered on social issues.

The characters come from complex backgrounds—congenital disabilities, drug and alcohol addiction, incest, codependency, and religious faith—while the three heroines struggle with the line between good and evil.

To survive, they must make painful choices, even at the cost of hurting those they love.

• Characters

A girl with a congenital reading disorder who cannot read or write. One day, she finds a letter—the very letter that sparked her parents' hatred for each other. Desperate to understand its contents, she embarks on a journey of discovery. Despite her struggles, she doesn’t speak with words, but with actions.

The daughter of Kirigakure Masanori, a once-feared political tyrant. She lived in luxury until her mother abandoned the family, sending her father into a downward spiral. With no one to rely on, her only comfort is the teddy bear her mother left behind.

A girl born into poverty. Abused by her twisted father and trapped in a codependent relationship with her mother, she longs for freedom—but the curse of her family keeps her bound. The day she steals alcohol for her father is the day her fate begins to change.
