The nightmares are coming. You're the toy standing in their way.
Build towers, combine their effects, and fight alongside your defenses as a wooden jester protecting a sleeping child from the creatures hiding in their dreams.
When the lights go out, the nightmares come alive.
In Siege of Nightmares, you play as a wooden jester toy tasked with protecting a sleeping child from monsters creeping out of the darkness. Build defenses from the toys and objects around you, shape the enemies' path, and enter the fight yourself the later nights become the more dangerous.
This isn't just a tower defense where you simply watch from above. You fight alongside your defenses, reposition when a lane begins to collapse, and decide when to take risks for a stronger next round.
Build Your Defense
Place towers directly into the nightmare and force enemies to navigate around your creations. Every placement changes the battlefield, allowing you to funnel enemies into kill zones or reinforce parts of the room that are beginning to be overwhelmed.
Upgrade your towers through different paths and build defenses around the strategy you want to play.
Combine Tower Effects
Individual towers are useful. Combining them is where your defense becomes dangerous.
Apply status effects to enemies and use other towers to exploit them. Ignite targets, spread poison, stun threats, shatter enemies, and discover combinations that make different tower setups work together.
Fight Beside Your Towers
You aren't just commanding the defense.
Control the jester directly and join the battle while your towers attack. Help finish dangerous enemies, protect weak sections of your defense, and react when your carefully planned setup starts to break down.
Your towers are the foundation of your strategy. Your hero is what keeps that strategy alive when things go wrong.
Take Risks Between Waves
Surviving is only part of the decision.
Push your luck by beginning the next wave early for greater rewards or use the time between attacks to reinforce your defenses. The battlefield can also change between runs, forcing you to adapt instead of relying on the exact same layout every night.
