About This Game
Mindbreak is an exploration driven tile-based puzzle adventure game about the escape from a corrupted insane asylum. Play as the supernaturally gifted asylum patients as you build and combine their unique abilities to explore and master the vast interconnected asylum.
Detailed Description
Set in a mid-1900's insane asylum, Mindbreak is a thrilling story of an attempted escape. Use your puzzle solving skills along with the unique abilities of each character to navigate the vast asylum and disrupt the Wardenβs malevolent scheme. Combining tile-based puzzle solving with the thrill of exploration and ability building, Mindbreak is sure to leave you both puzzled and intrigued.
Unique characters and abilities
Whether itβs the ability to teleport or to temporarily enter a separate dimension, the different characters are not only equipped with unique personalities. As you venture further to unlock your characters, more powerful abilities are needed to advance.
Color-based tile puzzles
Puzzles are primarily made by color coded tiles. Each character matches a color and can only walk along tiles of that color. Black is impassable to all, while white can be used by anyone. Players use the unique abilities of the characters, to help them navigate the puzzles and master the vast interconnected asylum.
You are never alone
Watch out! Guards are always patrolling the corridors, and the greatest advances are often guarded by more powerful enemies with supernatural abilities of their own. It is encounters such as these that truly test the skill and knowledge of players.
