游戏内容
这是一款以黑暗童话为主题、火柴人为题材的2D格斗游戏。游戏提供多位各具特色的火柴人角色选择，游戏选项方面支持带剧情的街机模式、可以双人对战的对战模式、以及可以提供连招练习的训练模式。
游戏背景
游戏风格走黑暗风。舞台位于全都是火柴人的世界，所有参战的火柴人，他们的精神几乎全部错乱，只为战斗而活。当然也不排除少许无辜之人，但没有人会因此而手下留情。
游戏玩法
相比前作《兽设格斗前传：上》，画面升级为16:9，除此之外角色流畅度也大幅提升！游戏采用全新又简单的攻击系统：仅有三个主要进攻按键【攻击】【破防】【特殊移动】，角色在限定的连击内，只需左右方向键+攻击键连按，便能轻松连击，即使是格斗新手也能轻松入门。以【条件式】取代传统的【必杀技】，在限定的气槽内达成相应的连击要求，触发高伤甚至高达四分之三的伤害，每位角色至少拥有五个通常条件式，一个高伤条件式。
