About This Game
Create your cute animal overlord and command 100 pawns. Build a settlement into a civilization under the guide of an ancient and mysterious totem; in this 2D colony simulation and management game.
Detailed Description
Cosmic Construct is a cozy colony simulation game starring a cast of cute animal characters that can be individually managed. You take the role of a researcher and colonist studying an ancient and mysterious totem left behind by a precursor civilization. Your world is a dark 2D hand drawn environment reminiscent of scratchboards, neon, the ZX Spectrum, or Amiga.
START AS A CAMP
Your camp will start small, with just you to look over it. To please the central totem, you will be given a series of tasks to complete; leading to the birth of a new civilization.
GROW INTO A SETTLEMENT

As the totem gains strength, it is able to claim dominion over more land. Utilize this new available space to accomplish further goals. Both set by the totem, and your own will.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR CREATURES
When your settlement grows, new pawns will arrive to the colony. Pawn species and cloak can be customized for synergistic and organizational purposes. Each pawn has traits which change the way they interact with their fellow settlers.
LET THEM DO THEIR JOBS
These pawns will take up jobs you assign them, and will sometimes act in their own interests. Clever arrangements of pawn jobs can be used to automate many crafting tasks.
