After undergoing decades of careful study deep within the most secretive government facility on earth, it is time for the Flying Saucer to once again take to the skies – this time under terrestrial control! You are the lucky pilot chosen for this extraordinary test flight.

With no recognizable means of generating aerodynamic lift, this captured craft of unknown origin does not fly like a traditional airplane. Technicians report that it has several distinct flight modes which are selectable by the pilot. Though its disc shape has no obvious front or back, red lights seem to indicate the “tail” of the craft. Beyond that, our people further note that its tripod landing gear are fully retractable.

Your orders are to learn everything you can about the Flying Saucer’s capabilities and report back to command. Once you are comfortable with how it handles, we suggest operating at some night airports for the complete experience. The ship’s enhanced illumination provides excellent visibility in the dark.
