Race as a bubble that is its own fuel! Shoot off bits of yourself to boost through cute hand-drawn tracks, shrink to slip through tight shortcuts, and eat the blips your rivals leave behind to grow back. A top-down party racer for up to 9 players online, plus Grand Prix cups and time trials.
Detailed Description
Slipstream is a top-down party racer where you play as a bubble that is its own fuel. Every boost costs a piece of you, and every piece you shed is free fuel for the racers behind.
Shoot out blips, little pieces of yourself, to rocket in the opposite direction. Every shot makes you smaller and faster to push around, so spend your size wisely. Eat the blips other racers leave behind to grow big again!
Tracks are riddled with gaps only a small bubble can thread. Shed your size at the right moment to slip through a shortcut, and grow back before the big bubbles bully you off the line.
Create a lobby, invite up to 8 friends for a total of 9 racers, vote on a track, and go. Bump rivals off the racing line, snack on their leftovers, and steal first place at the finish. Prefer strangers? Join or host a public lobby and race the world!
Tap shots build speed. Charged shots slow you for a beat, then launch you harder, perfect for hairpins and last-second dodges. Knowing which shot to fire, and when, is what separates podium bubbles from popped ones.
Turn your bubble from drab to fab with bowties, bandanas, clown noses, cat ears, and more. Every racer in the lobby sees your look, so express your bubbly personality in style!
Play on a wide variety of different tracks based on different bodies of water! Each track has their own layout and unique mechanics. Try them out and find out which track resonates with you the most, or try and master all of them!
Additionally, you can play any track with no other racers and aim for the fastest time on Time Trials! This is a great mode to use to improve your skills. Compare your fastest time with other players! Reach time goals to earn medals, or see if you can beat the world record!
