For over 200 years, Oak Island has fascinated treasure hunters, historians, and conspiracy theorists alike.
The legend begins in 1795, when three young men discover a mysterious, man-made sinkhole on the island. Their excavations uncover layer upon layer of strange clues β wooden platforms, scorched coconut fibers, and a carved stone bearing strange symbols resembling hieroglyphs.
This marks the birth of the infamous "Money Pit" β a shaft that turns out to be a deadly trap. Every attempt to drain it ends in floods or tragedy. Over the centuries, millions have been spent trying to uncover its secret.
What lies beneath?
A Templar treasure? Shakespeareβs lost manuscripts? A pirate hoard?
No theory has ever been proven. And yet, the curse of Oak Island continues β said to demand seven lives before the mystery may be solved...
Jamie Watson
Jamie is a reporter β or was, before sarcasm and too many uncomfortable questions made him unwelcome in the newsroom.
What begins as a harmless assignment draws him deep into the heart of a centuries-old mystery. Behind locked doors, silent archives, and cryptic encounters, one question becomes louder: Why has no one ever told the truth?
Annie Pilgrim
Annie is a student β smart, determined, and with a knack for spotting inconsistencies. When she stumbles upon an old document, her investigation leads far beyond what her professors would approve of.
As she digs deeper, the lines between history and the present begin to blur β and she must decide whether to trust the books, or herself.
Ryan Porter
Ryan has seen more than heβd like β and lost more than he lets on. On the run from his past, he signs on to a ship that promises escape.
But the sea is treacherous, and fate has other plans. Along the journey, he discovers stories where legend and reality are separated only by a thin plank of wood β and perhaps by the truth heβs about to find.
