About This Game

Build game-breaking combos as you ascend through challenging rituals in this strategic deck builder. Master the unique card linking resource system and discover infinite procedural possibilities.

Detailed Description

Azoth is a strategic deckbuilding card game where you'll harness the powers of Blood, Sol, and Anima to overcome increasingly challenging bosses. Draw through your entire deck each round while building synergistic card combinations through a unique linking system that rewards careful planning and strategic play.

Cards must be played in strategic links - sequential numbers, groups of identical numbers, or sets of the same element. Each card's valence number determines the minimum number of cards required in its link. The higher the valence, the more challenging it is to play, but the greater its power.

Build increasingly complex combos to advance your character and unlock new potential. With requirements doubling each level, you'll need to discover innovative combinations to progress through the depths of the late game.

At the end of each act, you'll find yourself in a challenging encounter against a boss. The mechanics of each encounter is unique: Whether you're assembling cards the boss gives you into the ultimate weapon, playing specific links to attack and block, reclaiming cards the boss is stealing from you, or countless others!

Each turn you'll gain an opportunity to add cards, aspects or even select events to improve your deck and chase bigger and bigger synergies.

Take on powerful aspects to shape the nature of each run. Manage your attunement slots and optimize each build.

Choose from over 20 unique heroes to design your approach to survival for each run. Pay life to draw cards, discard strategically, rearrange your deck, or set up devastating combos by retrieving cards from your discard pile.

Overcome pattern cards that infiltrate your deck and disrupt your strategy. Each requires specific links to defeat, adding another layer of tactical depth. Defeated patterns grant the player drafts, which can be used to gain new cards, encounter events or take aspects.
