STAY OUT OF THE FOG

One ordinary night, an emergency warning interrupts the television broadcast. A strange fog is spreading across the world. People are told to stay indoors and keep away from the figures seen inside it. Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to approach or communicate with them. Then the power goes out.

When your dog Wolfie runs into the forest, you follow. What starts as a search for him quickly turns into a fight for survival as strange creatures emerge between the trees and something enormous moves above them.

Forced away from home, you find your way into a hidden facility buried deep inside the mountain.

And whatever happened here, it happened recently.

STAY QUIET

The anomalies roaming the facility are not something you want to confront.

Move carefully through dark rooms and narrow corridors. Hide in lockers, crawl through ventilation shafts and use your surroundings to stay out of sight.

Some anomalies react strongly to sound. If one hears you, staying hidden may be your best option. If it finds you, run.

FIND A WAY THROUGH

The route forward is rarely straightforward. Search rooms for keys, fuses and other useful items. Restore power, operate machinery and solve environmental puzzles to reach new areas.

Climb ladders, squeeze through narrow openings and crawl through places that may offer the only safe route ahead. Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing where to go. It's getting there alive.

BENEATH THE MOUNTAIN

The deeper you travel, the stranger the facility becomes. Empty offices still have monitors running. Research equipment has been abandoned. Blood stains the floors. Journals left behind by employees suggest that some of them had begun to question what was really happening inside the facility.

Then there are the containment areas. Whatever was being studied here is no longer safely contained. The fog may have brought the world to a halt, but it soon becomes clear that there is more to uncover beneath the mountain.

SOME QUESTIONS ARE PERSONAL

There is another story hidden among the horror. Photographs, memories and objects from home reveal pieces of the life you had before you were left alone with Wolfie. A wife. A newborn child. And a tragedy you are still trying to live with. What happened to the world is one mystery. What happened to your family is another.
