About This Game

Welcome to AUTO‑Land, an autonomous amusement center abandoned and transformed into a horrific death trap filled with robotic abominations. Armed with an arsenal of unorthodox weapons and gadgets, you must fight your way through this survival‑horror experience and escape AUTO‑Land in one piece.

Detailed Description

Welcome to AUTO‑Land: Mechanical Horror! A first‑person sci‑fi survival‑horror game.

What was originally intended to be the world’s first fully autonomous amusement center has now been twisted into something entirely different. The Autonomous Programs responsible for operating the center have turned into bloodthirsty maniacs, transforming the once‑helpful robotic servants known as Autroids into terrifying, relentless killing machines. Since there is no way to escape, you’ll either fight your way through the different attractions of AUTO‑Land—using the various weapons and gadgets at your disposal—or die at the cold mechanical hands of the Autroids.

Autroids

The game features two bosses and a variety of distinct enemies, ranging from humanoid Autroid guards patrolling AUTO‑Land to two‑legged, raptor‑like machines stalking their prey from the shadows, and much more.

Weapons and Gadgets

You’ll be gifted an arsenal of useful, distinctive tools for fighting off the Autroids. You’ll start slowly with only a robot‑hacking light gun and your trusty old screwdriver, but later collect more dangerous weapons like an acid gun, a sound‑wave cannon, shock traps, and more.

Actually killing an Autroid can be tricky, since your weapons don’t always deal lethal damage. You can hold them off to make your escape, or risk your life and precious resources to go for the kill.

Attractions

AUTO‑Land consists of many different attractions, once intended to amuse customers—now each more deadly than the last.

You’ll start off in the worn‑down but well guarded warehouse section and make your way to the main lobby that connects all the attractions. From there you’ll visit several places, each with its own hazards and enemies:

  • The nerve‑wrecking Funmaze, filled with traps and unstoppable sentinels.

  • The terrifying Ghost House, harboring a mechanical abomination out for human skin.

  • The horrific Tinkershop, where something always seems to follow your every step.

  • The dark cornfields of Biopark, where danger lurks all around you in the night.

This game is currently still in an early stage of development and I am planning on releasing a free demo, containing the entire first chapter.

As a solo game developer, I’m working very hard on this passion project, and I would love to share my vision of AUTO‑Land with all of you. <3
