About This Game
A weird, surreal visual novel retelling the cult B-movie Manos: The Hands of Fate. Face tarot cards, blackjack duels, and bad vacation decisions in this Ghibli-meets-grindhouse choose-your-own-disaster comedy. Featuring Torgo. Lots of Torgo.
Detailed Description
“MANOS: The Hands of Choice” is a short, strange, and mildly cursed visual novel inspired by the legendary B-movie Manos: The Hands of Fate — the movie that made you ask “…why?” and then watch it anyway.
You play as Michael, a dad just trying to take his family on a peaceful road trip through 1960s Texas. Unfortunately, peace is cancelled when they take a wrong turn into a desert wasteland, stumble upon a creepy lodge, and meet a man named Torgo whose knees don’t work right and whose intentions are worse.
Now you must navigate a night full of awkward cultists, unexplained noises, bad vacation decisions, and weirdly romantic toast.
Think Scooby-Doo meets MST3K meets blackjack with a demon.
🔮 Gameplay Highlights:
Make choices that actually matter — and plenty that definitely don’t.
Compete in a tarot-powered Blackjack minigame against The Master himself.
Encounter multiple endings, from doomed to dramatic to… kind of sweet?
Yes, you can pet the dog. No, it doesn’t go well.
Every chapter is tied to a tarot card. That’s deep, right?
Enjoy an Art Gallery, Torgo Trivia Mode, and bonus lore that absolutely no one asked for.
Playable with keyboard, mouse, touch, or controller — even cursed ones.
About 30–60 minutes per run, or longer if you stop to overthink the toast.
👁️🗨️ Featuring:
Ghibli-style visuals.
A bizarre mix of horror, dark comedy, and surreal cult energy.
No voice acting. Just lots of text. And narration. And text about narration.
Torgo. So much Torgo.
“You cannot escape Manos. But you might get out with your luggage.”
“The Hands of Fate… now in click-to-choose format.”
“Inspired by retro horror, bad decisions, and slightly burnt bread.”
