About This Game
Immortal Magus is a throwback to old 'artillery' games such as Scorched Earth or Pocket Tanks, but in a fantasy setting. In a simple mixture of turn-based and real-time strategy, defeat your enemy by hurling spells and summoning Units in destructible environments.
Detailed Description
Magic is dying from the world... but still, there are the Immortal Magi.
In Immortal Magus, you as one of the titular sorcerers must save ancient Britain from the demon, Mephisto.
The game is a throwback to a nigh-forgotten subgenre of strategy games, called 'artillery games.' You must throw projectiles at your opponents to eliminate them - carefully calculating the trajectory, and the effect of the wind. A variety of different spells (which act as the projectiles) can be used to defeat your enemies.
FEATURES:
voice-acted Story mode
customizable two-player Skirmish mode
destructible environments
variety of different spells, including a Spell Editor in Story Mode to craft your own
multitude of Units to create
