Slingshot Quest uses a turn-based battle system, inspired by classic JRPGs. On your turn, you can choose to cast a spell, attack an enemy, use an item, defend, unleash a powerful SUPER move, or attempt to escape. Combat features a quick-time event minigame for attacks. When using spells or items, you'll need to carefully aim to hit as many targets at once and deal as much damage as possible.
