The plague has swallowed a dying medieval world, and ordinary weapons are no longer enough. You are the Plague Doctor: carve through plague-born hordes, tear down their monstrous leaders and take their bodies as your own. Plague Doctor VS The Profane is a fast isometric hack-and-slash where every power has a price.



Why fight a boss when you can wear its body? Every monstrous leader you defeat becomes a form you can take.

• Orc Warlord: crush entire hordes with a giant hammer.
  
• The Lich: unleash necrotic magic and explosive runes.
  
• Plague Rat: slip away from danger and squeeze through narrow gaps to reach hidden healing.

No form lasts forever. While transformed, your Toxin gauge keeps rising, and when it fills you snap back to the Plague Doctor. Or return early, whenever you choose.



Hiding will get you killed. Combat is built on momentum: keep moving, keep killing.

• Clawed gauntlets: wide, sweeping strikes that cut through whole groups.
  
• Alchemical crossbow: fire it like a machine gun for as long as your Toxin gauge can take it.
  
• Lightning-fast dashes to slip past fatal blows.

Every power poisons you. Transforming and firing the crossbow fill your blood with Toxins. Overfill the gauge and it locks while your body purges the poison, and in the middle of a fight that is the last thing you want. Keep your Toxins in check, pick your moments and never push too far.

• A cursed village where goblins, used as living artillery, serve a brutal Orc Warlord.
  
• Ancient catacombs where block-heavy skeleton warriors rise at the Lich's command.
  
• A rotting swamp where the true source of the plague waits.
