About This Game

Primateria: Reburn is a magepunk card battler where you rise from cozy shop duels to world championships. Build decks, trade cards, explore arcane regions, and forge your legacy in a living TCG world.

Detailed Description

You know the smell. That specific, papery-ink scent of a fresh booster pack cracking open. You know the weight of a deck in your hands, the one you stayed up until 2 a.m. sleeving and re-sleeving because the mana curve just wasn't quite right. You know the quiet hum of a local card shop on a Tuesday night, the low murmur of trades being negotiated, the sudden yelp when someone pulls the one chase mythic from the new set.

We know it too. It's the lifeblood of trading card games. For years, digital TCGs have captured the strategy but have always missed the soul. They give you a ladder to climb and a button to click. They forget the culture.

Primateria: Reburn is our answer to that. We're building a TCG life simulator. A game where your journey from a nobody at a dusty local shop to a world champion is the entire point. In this magepunk world, cards are everythingโ€”the language of sleeping gods, the key to forgotten magic, and your ticket to a new life.

Your Legend Starts at the Locals

Your career begins at a place like The Ember Bloom, a neighborhood card shop where the regulars know your name. You'll play in weekly Swiss tourneys, test your janky brews against the local meta, and maybe win a few rare cards from the shop's binder to build your collection.

From there, the world opens up.

  • Pack your bags for Regionals. You'll travel across the Arcane Quartersโ€”regions themed around Wind, Water, and Fire, each with its own rotating rulesets and dominant decks.

  • Qualify for Nationals and you'll duel in arenas that defy imagination. Floating cities, grand underwater halls, battlefields orbiting massive crystals. The competition gets fierce here.

  • Your ultimate goal: The Reverie Cup. The world championship held in Auroria, a city literally built from dreams. The board itself is unstable here, shifting based on a player's will. Only the best of the game can become a Primateria Master.

The True Card Shop Vibe

A card shop is at its heart a place to play, but it's also a community. We've worked hard to make our shops feel alive, filled with the kind of stories and interactions you'd find in a real one.

  • Argue with NPCs about the meta, gossip about who's testing what, and hang out to watch other duels while you wait for the next round.

  • Someone pulls a chase card right in front of you. Do you make an offer on the spot? Do they ask to see your binder? These moments happen.

  • The people here remember you. That player you crushed last week might hold a grudge. A friendly rival might offer to lend you a key card for a big tournament, forging an alliance that unlocks new story arcs and team events.

  • Play all the formats you'd expect: Ranked, Draft, Highlander, Tag Duels, even budget-friendly events. The NPCs you face aren't pushovers; their decks are meticulously crafted to reflect competitive archetypes.

Built for the Player

We've built the game with the features we always wanted as players. No fluff, just tools that support the experience.

  • An in-game phone keeps you connected. Check tournament rankings, track your achievements, see what events are firing at nearby shops, and manage your friends list.

  • A proper digital binder you can actually flip through, sort, and filter without leaving the duel table.

  • Post your wants and haves in dedicated trade groups to arrange meetups with NPCs and get the cards you need.

  • Achievements mean something. Beating a tough boss might unlock access to a high-stakes tournament, or grant you a legendary card that opens up a whole new deck archetype.

In Primateria: Reburn, your legacy isn't just a rank or a title. It's the story you write, one duel, one deck, one spark at a time.
