There’s something strange beyond the treeline...

When park ranger Starla Pines discovers an impossible object has fallen from the sky, she finds herself face-to-face with Shorty: a giant robot with a mysterious connection to the strange force fracturing Barcadero National Park.

Together, they set out to explore the broken park, restore its wild places, and uncover the truth behind the alien cubes scattered throughout the landscape.

But the deeper Starla and Shorty venture, the more they discover the mystery isn't just about what happened to the park...

Explore a Living National Park

A handcrafted national park filled with forests, desert springs, caves, rivers, hidden paths, and unexpected secrets. Climb, crawl, push, carry, and forage your way to places that were previously out of reach. Every corner has something to find, from lost artifacts to curious creatures. A true park ranger always pays attention.

Play Solo or Couch Co-Op

Play alone, or team up with a friend as Starla and Shorty. Starla is small, clever, and resourceful; she squeezes into tight spaces and reaches places her giant companion can't. Shorty is big, powerful, and surprisingly good at throwing things. Including Starla. Switch between their abilities to solve problems neither could tackle alone. Two unlikely friends, figuring it out together.

Solve Alien Cube Puzzles

Scattered throughout the park are mysterious cubes filled with impossible spaces. Step inside and solve puzzle rooms built around teamwork and experimentation. Push blocks. Throw objects (or Starla, again). Activate switches. Manipulate strange machines. Navigate portals. Destroy the power core, and send each cube back where it came from.

Restore the Park

The park has been broken apart by a mysterious force. As you explore, you'll bring new areas of Barcadero National Park back into your growing world. Repair broken bridges. Restore damaged landmarks. Clear away corruption. Then decide how it all fits together, arranging areas around Station 58 to open new paths and reveal secrets.

Rebuild the Museum

The Museum has seen better days. Explore the park to discover lost artifacts and pieces of Barcadero's forgotten history, then bring them home. Every artifact adds another piece to the story: its people, its creatures, its mysteries. Collect them all, and watch the museum come back to life.

Follow the Signal

Before the park fell apart, someone was trying to warn the world. A vanished radio host. A series of strange broadcasts. Follow the trail Tumbleweed left behind, and uncover the secrets hidden in his final transmissions.

The further you follow the signal, the more questions you'll find waiting in the static.

And somewhere beyond the treeline, something is listening.
