About This Game
A roguelite-ish narrative game where you play as a sentient sword inside a Mirror Dimension, seeking for answers and being forced to face your own issues while at it.
Detailed Description
âĒģ About the Game âĒŧ
You are the sword.
Be the Sword is a narrative-heavy roguelite with emotional themes, psychological deep dives and a weirdly specific camera perspective.
The game follows Ignis Caltierra (or Iggy, for short) as he enters inside the Mirror Dimension in seek of the mythical figure of the Lady of the Mirror.
Choosing to believe the stories about her (more out of desperation than anything), he hopes she might be able to help him find the answers to his ever-increasing list of problems.
Amongst the many things he did expect, becoming a literal sword forced to face his inner demons before ever getting to meet her was not one of them.
Face aspects of yourself embodied by the four phases of the Moon â because the Lady is, apparently, a huge astrology fan â deal with your family trauma and discover what role this world has assigned you.

âĒģ Features âĒŧ
Fast, visceral face-to-face (or face-to-blade?) combat
Fight your inner demons in four unique areas, one Moon phase at a time
Collect everything between items, broken memories, and trauma-turned-character-perks
Unique, hand-drawn pixel animations
Talk to Mirror natives, other lost souls, and maybe yourself
A frankly unhealthy amount of lore
Made during hospital visits, built out of sheer determination and a lot of spite
