About This Game

A minimalist yet strategic puzzle-arcade game where every bounce counts. Redistribute cell values, unlock powerful abilities, and survive as long as you can — one wrong move, and it's game over.

Detailed Description

I/O is a minimalist but deeply strategic puzzle-arcade game where every bounce matters β€” and one wrong move could end your run.

At its core, I/O is about survival. You bounce between two platforms filled with numbered cells. Each bounce reduces a cell’s value β€” and if you ever land on a cell showing zero, it’s game over. Unless… you’ve got a power to save you.

🧠 Plan Your Moves. Adapt Fast.
Each run presents a fresh grid and unique challenge. Think ahead, redistribute cell values, and use your limited powers wisely. Every 5 stages, you’ll enter Split Mode β€” a tactical break where you can transfer half the value of one cell into another, giving you a chance to balance the board and extend your life.

🧬 Choose Your Powers
Before each run, pick two powers to bring with you. These are game-changers:

  • Safe Bounce: Survive a 0 hit once.

  • Value Boost: Double the value of a cell.

  • Overcharge: Double your score for one bounce.

  • Zero Cleanse: Turn a 0 into something usable.

  • And more...

Each power has limited uses, so timing is everything.

πŸ“ˆ Progress & Unlock
Earn score by surviving longer and bouncing smart. Use that score to unlock new power-ups in the Power Store, giving you more tools and strategies for future runs.
