About This Game

A quirky yet ruthless 2D roguelike side-scroller where you control a trashcan dodging relentless drones and deadly beams of light in ever-changing alleys. How far can you go?

Detailed Description

You escaped, but the chase never really stopped.

The alleys are dark, and full of searchlights. Drones patrol constantly. Every step you take could be your last.
The rule is simple: move when the lights are gone, stop when they’re above you. But that’s easier said than done.

The End of the Alley is a 2D roguelike side-scroller where you need to stay calm, move carefully, and outsmart a system designed to catch you. Every run is procedurally generated, with new layouts, hazards, and patterns every time you play.

I built this game by myself because I wanted something simple, intense, and replayable. It’s easy to understand, but every decision matters. You will fail a lot. That is a part of the fun.

Main Features

Limitless Replayability
Procedural generation keeps every run fresh. The further you go, the tougher it gets. New enemy patterns, faster drones, and more difficult layouts keep you on your toes.

Branching World Map
After each level you choose your path. Hunt for treasure, take on bosses, or gamble on shortcuts. Every route is different.

Game Modes
Hardcore Mode: One mistake sends you back to the start.
Adventure Mode: More forgiving, but still tough. Fail a level and you restart at your current world.

Customization
Unlock skins for your character. They don’t change gameplay, but they let you make your trashcan look however you want.

The rules are simple. The challenge is not.
If that sounds like your kind of game, I hope you’ll give it a try.
