SKERDA ARMOR: Boss Fight Playtest

SKERDA ARMOR unfolds a delirious souls-like odyssey through a distant world of concrete jungles and bizarre rural lands.

THE DEMO 

This short demo is a challenging boss fight against one of the game's main bosses.

One of the many Half-Brothers you'll encounter in the distant Lands of Owners, and whom you'll have to face throughout the game.

This demo serves as an initial test of the game's core mechanics, visual style, and setting.

The game is currently in development, with the goal of uploading more small demos before the final release, featuring new boss fights and complete levels.

CHALLENGING SOULS-LIKE COMBAT

A fast-paced, brutal, and demanding combat system that rewards players for analyzing and memorizing enemy attack patterns and movements, while harshly punishing mistakes and lack of precision.

GROTESQUE AND FANTASTIC ENEMIES

Face grotesque enemies and bosses of bizarre proportions, and tormented, isolated characters. Defeat the Half-Brothers and their mythical dogs, fend off the crazed inhabitants of the city of Peridiana, and fight against the abandoned soldiers of the vast concrete jungle.

A DARK AND INTERCONNECTED WORLD

A large, fantastical, dark, and interconnected world to explore. Full of liminal and strange spaces that emanate loneliness and melancholy and hold secrets. It blends a decaying urban setting with a dreamlike and surreal natural environment.

THE ISLAND

The full game takes place on a small island divided into three areas:

• The steep Women's Neighborhood, with a huge moon hovering above it.

• The Closed Neighborhood, a forbidden area that is the battlefield of a past war.

• The Distant Land of Owners, a vast area divided into the domains of the warring Half-Brothers.

LORE AND GOALS

Out of the concrete nest, soldier! We need to clean this island!

Above the cement sky lies the wounded beast —climb to the top and finish it off!

As long as it still breathes, there will be more victims. Hurry!

From the heart of the closed district, another danger lurks.

Among its brick jungle a foreigner arrived — breach the high wall and eradicate the virus he brought!
You'll have to cross the Women’s Neighborhood to do so.

You won’t be welcome there, so… Prepare yourself!

Here lies speak, and the rest remain silent...

Once you’re done, you’ll meet the Lord of the Dogs.

He’ll take you to the distant lands of owners, where half-brothers are cut in half.

Within the bellies of their loyal companions, they hid the most sacred of meats.

Edgar and Elias, the blondes,

Godoi, the lucky one,

Marlo, the golden boy, and his father,

Felix, the coward,

And many more...

All of them hiding in their castles and farms,

waiting to be betrayed by their own blood.

What they don’t know is that you’re here too, soldier…

Save them or kill them! But none will be forgiven…

You’ve got work to do.
