Two Voices Echo in Your Ears
When you wake, this is what the world has become: eternal night, endless darkness. You don't know what happened, but there's no time to ponder—hunger and various pressures rush over you. You need to survive first.
Meanwhile, two strange voices constantly echo in your ears:
Survive and Explore This Dark World
The core gameplay revolves around survival and exploration. You will explore a world composed of grid cells, collecting food and resources you find to fill your stomach and maintain the beacon's light—don't let it go out.
The entire world is shrouded in darkness. You must raise your torch, carefully illuminating the path ahead, slowly piecing together the shape of this world.
Darkness is eternal; it will engulf any area without light, including places you've already explored. To maintain and expand the existing faint light, you must continuously seek out and consume resources.
Hold Back the Monster Invasion
The darkness seems far from safe. Monsters attack periodically, keeping your nerves constantly on edge.
You must protect the safety of your little home!
Build and Expand
The game allows you to use resources to construct various buildings, which can help you survive better in this harsh world. As you progress, you will obtain blueprints for a variety of structures.

"Dark Grid," the first game born from solo development, is a 2D experience focusing on survival and exploration.

This is the developer's first game released on Steam, and it's currently under active development. The full version is planned for release in Q4 2025.
