About This Game

Outlaw’s Vengeance is a third-person stealth-action game set in the fractured world of New Aurelia. Take up the mantle of Silas Ridge - assassin, exile, and the ghost of a failed revolution - as you hunt the corrupt elite governors who rule and oppress New Aurelia.

Detailed Description

Outlaw’s Vengeance follows the story of an exiled and forgotten assassin as he hunts down the governors who took everything from him. In this semi-open world game, you will play as Silas as he travels to four separate cities, on a mission to investigate, gather information and then hunt down four targets. Your blade and the rooftops of New Aurelia are your greatest allies, use them to disappear into the skyline and descend like death itself.

But as you silence each name on your list, a darker question begins to rise: Who are you when no one can stop you?

PARKOUR

Movement has been designed to make you feel like a swift and powerful assassin. With a focus on player agency and self-expression, the game gives you four cities to run, climb and free run through, using a variety of parkour techniques that gives Silas all the tools necessary to escape or approach enemies at lightning speed.

  • The streets of the cities in New Aurelia are claustrophobic and dangerous, so Outlaw’s Vengeance allows you to quickly climb and rise to the top of the tallest rooftops using a combination of climbing, beam jumps and manual jumps to rise quickly and gain advantage over your enemies.

  • The rooftops are riddled with obstacles and elements that make up the parts of New Aurelia’s architectural identity. As you free run, Silas will vault, slide and jump past them ensuring momentum and speed is preserved through your runs.

  • Self-determination is at the core of our game philosophy, which means we must give players the ability to carve their own paths during parkour. Catch ledge, jump at any point, and determine your own routes as you make the cities your playground.

STEALTH

Trained as a Noctarii, a political assassin forged in the military academies of Aruditas, Silas has lived his whole life perfecting the art of being unseen. Stealth mechanics are developed to reflect the experience and ruthlessness with which Silas cuts through his targets. Armed with a gearblade, a silenced revolver and an array of stealth tools, you can choose whether to kill or spare each enemy during your infiltrations.

  • Knock out or avoid your enemies through non-lethal tactics, leveraging chokes, hiding spots and smoke bombs to remove their line of sight and slip past unnoticed.

  • Leave a trail of blood behind you using gun-fu or regular knife kills. The taking of a life is a common occurrence for a man such as Silas, and the more you do so, the more desensitized he will become.

  • Risk-reward is at the core of our stealth philosophy. Information is king. The more you know – and the less your enemies do – the more powerful you are. Choose when and where to spend your bullets to take out enemies from afar, investigate your surroundings to gather intel on guard patrols and possible entry points, and get close when you want to guarantee the kill.

COMBAT

Silas, like any trained Noctarri, is an angel of death. Combat is his least preferred method of approach, but he is still deadly and quick in a duel. With a flick of his gear blade, any detection can lead to an epic and cinematic knife fight between two souls fighting for their right to survive.

  • Use strikes, dodges and parries to defeat your enemies in engaging duels. But be careful – find yourself surrounded by too many guards at once, and you may find yourself bleeding on the floor before you know it.

  • Once your enemies reach a weakened state, Silas will perform a stylish execution that strikes fear into the hearts of any left alive to witness it.

OPEN MISSIONS

Each assassination in the game has a variety of approaches that give you the freedom to infiltrate and kill your target in your own style. Move like a ghost through corridors and alleys, use parkour to access otherwise out-of-reach entry points, or face your enemies head-on, forcing them to answer for every step they take toward you.
