Machine TakeOver is a single-player sandbox survival experience. Guide a lone character through a decaying open world where you’ll scavenge for resources, craft tools and weapons, build modular structures, and, above all, evade the Machines.

Once designed to optimize production, the Machines have redefined their purpose: culture is irrelevant, memory is inefficient, and humanity is no longer at the top of the chain. In this world, every life is measured by its biochemical value, and failure to meet the quota means becoming fuel.

– Unforgiving Survival Mechanics

Survival isn’t a gauge; it’s a consequence. Hunger, thirst, infection, and exhaustion are constant threats. Regional damage impacts movement and combat capabilities. Shot in the arm? You can’t aim properly. Wounded in the leg? You’ll limp and lose the ability to run.

– Open World. Limited Mercy.

Roam abandoned towns, industrial ruins, overgrown forests, and Machine-controlled zones. Each region offers unique threats, resources, and strategic dilemmas. Day-night cycles and weather dynamically affect visibility and danger.

– Crafting & Modular Building

Scavenge materials to craft handmade weapons, tools, clothes, and consumables. Build and customize modular structures: walls, frames, barricades; whatever you need to delay your inevitable discovery.

– Human NPC Encounters

Machines aren’t your only threat. Other survivors may trade, beg, deceive, or kill on sight. Form fragile relationships, barter for survival, or walk away… if you can.

– Procedural Traits & RPG Elements

Start each run with randomized traits (e.g., myopia) and adapt your playstyle accordingly. Level up character attributes through practice and experience. No chosen ones, no plot armor.
