About This Game
Be the person you needed. Brew tea, listen well, and guide branching stories in a narrative slice-of-life about showing up when it matters. No perfect answers. Only your choices and what they set in motion.
Detailed Description
Wheel blown, stuck outside Springdale. You don't make it into town, but town still makes its way to you, so put on the kettle and pour for those who show up. Even the ones who can't quite reach your window.
You: Tea might be too strong.
Molly: But I earned it! I've been so hayve.
You: Brave?
Molly: No, hayve. Like when Miss Marisol yells at me to stop running around her store.
Molly: βMolly, beHAVE!β
Molly: Well, I AM being hayve. Super hayve.
Branching Storylines
A stopover becomes a season, then another as strangers become regulars. Stories branch on small decisions. Decide how to stand by your childhood friend when the past shows up at his door. What do you tell a kid trying to make her mom smile again? How do you approach the monster in the deep forest? And sure, help Milo overthink a drink for his crush. Maybe Earl Grey with rose petals?
Tactile Tea-making
Scoop, steep, pour. Drinks wonβt alter major story paths, but do flavor the moment. A good pour gets a smile; a scorched mess gets roasted; then the conversation carries on. Bad brews welcome!
Calming Rituals
Settle into the simple rhythm of a tea-maker. Arrange jars, sweep stray leaves. The cart's small rituals ground you when conversations get heavy and nights get cold.
Humor Meets Heartbreak
Life here can be funny and aching in the same breath. When you canβt fix whatβs broken, just be there. Share tea. Listen. Sometimes thatβs enough.
