"Danmo Three Kingdoms: Battle of Wits" is a sandbox tactical chess game that extends the gameplay ideas of traditional chess, set against the backdrop of the Three Kingdoms. It focuses on light strategy and is extremely easy to play! The following is an introduction to the main gameplay features of the game:

Integrating traditional chess gameplay, it features light strategy and is easy to pick up.

The game uses a traditional chess-like system of commander countering as the foundation for turn-based battles. Victory is achieved through asset accumulation and territory conquest as the core winning conditions. Within a limited number of turns, players take a global perspective, form alliances and rivalries, capture cities step by step, and lead their commanders to work together to seize key strategic locations.

Massive combinations of Three Kingdoms generals, unleashing thousands of ingenious strategies.

In the full version of the game, over 200 historical generals from the Three Kingdoms are expected to appear. Each character will have unique combat strength, skills, and special tactics. You can freely assemble your own team of Three Kingdoms warriors within a limited point allocation, whether forging powerful alliances or gathering rivals.

Relive historical events or carve out your own era in the Three Kingdoms.

In story mode, you become the most favored disciple of Mr.Shui Jing, experiencing major historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion, the rise of warlords, chaotic conflicts, and the tripartite division of the realm—all from a first-person perspective. You will meet legendary heroes like Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Ce. The game supports online multiplayer play, allowing you to unlock more famous Three Kingdoms generals by completing campaigns or matches. Challenge top players from around the world and form powerful factions to compete for dominance! From assembling your generals and arranging skills to adapting tactics and using secret strategies, every step tests your intelligence. With ever-changing battle situations, whether you rise as a dark horse or unite in alliances, each confrontation is the ultimate clash of strategy and cunning!

We are a domestic independent development team passionate about history and strategy games. During the development process, when it came to defining the art style alone, we went through no fewer than 5 iterations, revising and refining repeatedly. In the end, we chose a version that aligns with the game’s style and characteristics—one that is more enduring, aesthetically pleasing, and embodies the essence of Chinese ink wash painting.
