Who is whispering in the fog?

Thomas Parris returns to his hometown after receiving a strange letter: both his parents have died, and he has inherited the house.

He soon discovers that everyone in the city is dead, and it all seems to lead back to his father and an accident in the mines that happened a few years ago.

An ominous fog won’t let him leave, so now he is stuck here until he resolves the mystery about the city and its strange curse…

Unveil the past.

With the help of an old mine lantern, you can see fragments of the past and discover the history of certain objects to learn about the lives of those who owned them.

An abandoned city… or not?

After finding out that everyone is dead, you also discover that their spirits still wander around the city.

You can see ghosts and talk to them, thanks to the lantern, but the curse messed up their memories. To solve the mystery, you first need to help them remember.

Pay attention to the details.

Not everything is as it seems at first glance. After picking up an object, you can inspect it closely through your inventory to find all the secrets it holds.

Point and click.

Some objects are more mysterious than others and require more action. With a point-and-click mechanic, you can use and combine more items in the scene inspection.

Work as a detective.

Explore the open map, inspect objects, find clues, and talk to ghosts. But most importantly, take notes in your diary and use it to help the ghosts remember their story.
